Freedom Crossing’s hours of operation are 9 AM- 7 PM every day. The Grand Hall dining area is now open with limited capacity; takeout/curbside operations are encouraged.
As of April 9, 2020, Command has issued a COVID-19 cloth face-covering policy. Anyone entering non-residential facilities or buildings on Fort Bliss will need to wear a mask or appropriate cloth face-covering until further notice.
As of March 25, 2020, Fort Bliss is under HPCON-Charlie by order of the Garrison Command.

Norma Porras is the General Manager at Smashburger. Porras was recently promoted to General Manager but has been with Smashburger for 6 years. Porras enjoys working at Freedom Crossing because she gets to engage with soldiers and their families daily, including delivering to soldiers at McGregor and Westbrook. Porras would like to remind our Authorized Patrons that Smashburger is also available on 3rd party app’s including UberEats, DoorDash, and Postmates.

Alex has managed the Buffalo Wild Wings at Freedom Crossing for the past 4 years. Spicer is a proud Army Mom whose son has served in Syria for 10 months and is currently stationed at Fort Hood. Spicer enjoys serving soldiers whether it’s in the dining area of Buffalo Wild Wing or delivering meals to soldiers in the barracks. For Spicer, Fort Bliss is home.

Pho Hoa and R & R Nails are both veteran-owned businesses at Freedom Crossing. Pho Hoa is managed by General Manager, Derek Zubia and owner, Hoang Lee. Lee served in the Army for 8 years and was stationed in Germany and Fort Bliss. Lee has enjoyed being a part of our Freedom Crossing family for the past 3 years with R & R Nail Spa proudly serving the Fort Bliss community since 2017, and Pho Hoa as of February 2020.

Happy’s Irish Pub and Grill is a veteran-owned business located at Freedom Crossing that is managed by Donny Rowe. The owner, Mark “Ranger” Jones is a retired Army Master Sergeant. Jones has contributed multiple philanthropic achievements ranging from working with disabled veterans to serving on the Board of Trustees of the Fisher House Foundation.

Metissa is the General Manager at 5 Star Nutrition at Freedom Crossing. Smith knows how to work with our authorized patrons as she has worked on two installations, including Fort Riley. Smith enjoys working at 5 Star Nutrition for two main reasons: she enjoys meeting customers from all around the world and the beauty of the Fort Bliss installation.

Arellano proudly served in the Marines for 6 years in Twentynine Palms, California, and loves the sense of community within stores at Freedom Crossing.

Beatrice Nevarez has been the Legendary Store Marketer at Texas Roadhouse for 2 years; she has bartended for 4 years. Nevarez’s grandfather is a veteran that fought in the Korean War. Nevarez enjoys coordinating family-friendly events while making sure soldiers and their families enjoy legendary food and customer service.

Dan Traeger has been the General Manager at The Grand Theatre for the past 10 years, Traeger has been in the industry for 33 years and comes from a long line of Army veterans and retired law enforcement. Traeger enjoys working in the industry and looks forward to seeing soldiers and their families at the Grand Theatre!

Gabriel Meza-Juarez is the General Manager at Chipotle. Gabriel has been in the Army Reserve as of 2014 and was stationed in Fort Sill in Oklahoma. Gabriel enjoys the ‘mini-city’ feeling at Freedom Crossing and appreciates the variety of services that are readily available for soldiers and their families.

Briana Hernandez has been with Under Armour for 6 years and the Store Manager for 3 years. Her Dad and sister have both retired from the Air Force. Her sister was stationed in Okinawa, Japan, and served for 16 years in Supply Management. Hernandez has a profound respect for her customers and believes there’s nothing like serving those who have served our country.

Teresa Thomas is the General Manager at Denny’s. Thomas is brand new to Denny’s and loves the energy at Freedom Crossing. Her father enlisted at 17 and served in the Navy. Thomas enjoys making her customers happy and looks forward to serving soldiers and their families, whether it’s for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Samantha Gonzalez is the Unit Manager at Chili’s at Freedom Crossing. Although Chili’s just recently opened in August, Samantha has been working on Fort Bliss for 9 years. Samantha’s Dad is retired from the Army, but he was stationed in Germany where she was born. Samantha’s family decided to call Fort Bliss home, and she feels lucky to be a part of this community. Samantha looks forward to continuing to serve service members and their families, it’s what gives her the most satisfaction.

Her grandfather is a World War 2 veteran, and her brother is a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marines. Gonzalez enjoys meeting people from all over the world who served for our freedom, it’s what she loves about her job.

Shane Stamper is the General Manager at Blaze Pizza he has worked with the company for 4 years. Stamper comes from a long line of veterans including an uncle who served in Vietnam and a grandfather who served in World War II. Stamper loves working at Freedom Crossing because he enjoys working in a friendly environment while serving healthy options and all-natural ingredients to soldiers and their families.
